It had a restaurant serving dinner, it was a very unusual design, it had a private car park which was locked at night, and it was in the centre of town.
The town of St Brieuc.

We liked the warm reception, the staff were very helpful. The room was very comfortable especially the washroom was well appointed. The access to the hotel was 'challenging' however we found it more by luck than judgment due to the numerous road closures on the day we visited. The car park was fine, however one should book a place early. Our visit was on 14th July so the town was alive with celebrations which made our stay even better. The old town itself has some nice areas and we found a lovely pavement cafe to have our meal. Overall our stay was a very pleasant experience

The room was very comfortable, but the bathroom (like so many newer hotels) was very minimalist and not too practical.

Impeccably clean hotel, appreciated to be very close to a lovely square which seemed to attract a lot of 20-30 somethings-great place to get a mohitio and the Centre of the Old Town thanks to magnificent location. The staff were excellent and decent day and night. The breakfast was very very good, well presented and with lots of options...

Lovely old building with good car park. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable. The one member of staff did his best to assist us in getting the car to the hotel and finding an open restaurant in the evening (both quite challenging!)
Hard to find/get at in the car owing to one way system. Good, clear instructions needed for on-line bookers. The room was very small and there was virtually no storage. The bathroom looked very modern and fancy but the shower didn't actually deliver much in the way of pressure and power. We were astonished that the restaurant was closed on a Saturday evening - after a long drive and a week on a boat, it was one of the reasons we had chosen the hotel. Personally I don't care for ultra-modern decor (which dates so quickly) in lovely old buildings, but that is a matter of taste. I find that all the effort/expense goes into appearance, and not necessarily convenience or comfort.

Very smart compact room easy reach of shops and bars etc.
A kettle and refreshments would of been a welcome addition the comfort room.
